How does it work?

We are now accepting applications for the next release of the Swedish Climate Startup Map. This is what happens after you complete your application.

1.

 Submit your application through the website.

2.

An Evaluation Team will assess your application

3.

You will be contacted if the evaluation team has any questions or needs further information

4.

If your startup meets all the company requirements and at least one of the sustainability criteria, it will be accepted onto the Map

5.

You will be notified of the acceptance via e-mail

6.

Your startup will be included in the next release of the Swedish Climate Startup Map

7.

If your startup doesn’t meet the requirements, your application may be reconsidered in a future evaluation

The Application Criteria

Startups and scaleups must meet all of the company requirements and at least one of the sustainability criteria to be featured on the Swedish Climate Startup Map.

Company Requirements

  • Founded and with headquarters in Sweden
  • Minimum of two full-time employees
  • Registered as a limited company (“aktiebolag”)
  • No unreasonably low turnover in the last two years
  • Scalable solutions applicable in multiple locations
  • More innovative than those already on the market
  • Contributes to environmental sustainability

Environmental Sustainability Criteria

  • Minimizes climate impact
  • Reduces energy use
  • Diminishes material usage
  • Reduces water use
  • Promotes sustainable transportation
  • Provides solutions to cleanse toxins
  • Enhances biodiversity
  • Stimulates behaviour change
  • Alerts concerning climate risks
